Jennifer

Heart Gallery 
Director

Jennifer Kremer-Oliva - born and raised in a small town in Germany, she came to the United States when she was a young teen. She spent her high school years in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Corpus Christi when she attended Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi. Shortly after moving to Corpus Christi she married her husband, Gabriel. Jennifer and Gabe are active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, both have held many leadership positions within the youth program. Jennifer joined local child welfare organizations in 2016, after her and her husband started the adoption process of their son. They adopted their son in September 2016. Jennifer has held leadership positions on the Child Welfare Foundation, Nueces County Child Welfare Board, the Texas Council of Child Welfare Boards and the DFPS Regional Child Death Review Team. In the past Jennifer has served in her son's local school as a PTA president, Council PTA president, the Corpus Christi ISD District Advisory Team, and the Corpus Christi ISD Strategic Planning Team. Jennifer is excited about his new opportunity to join the team at Foster Angels of South Texas and lead the Heart Gallery of South Texas.

Brisa

Heart Gallery & Post Adoption Coordinator

Brisa Cantu was born and raised in the small town of Uvalde, TX. She spent her youth surrounded by her family and enjoying gatherings at her grandparents home. While attending college in Uvalde, she met and married her husband of 20 years. Together, they have three children. After moving to McAllen in 2012, Brisa devoted herself to volunteering at her children's schools; becoming a member of the Parent Teacher Student Organization and serving as hospitality chairwoman for two years. She is an active member of the McAllen High School Quarterback Club and Powerlifting Booster Club, serving as President, Secretary and Treasurer for multiple years. Previously, she has worked as a Texas Real Estate Agent and has been a small business owner since 2016. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing at the beach and camping somewhere along the Frio River with her family.

Griselda

Heart Gallery Coordinator 
Corpus Christi & Laredo

Griselda Dueñes is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in education and business administration. Born in Houston and raised in Corpus Christi, she met her husband during an internship at a local residential design company. With a passion for nurturing young minds, she has devoted approximately 8 years to working in a preschool environment.

Transitioning her organizational skills to an educational administration role, Griselda spent 3 impactful years at a charter school, followed by a significant role in administration at a technology consulting firm. Now, as she embarks on the entrepreneurial journey of opening a coffee shop in the uptown area with her husband, Griselda is also thrilled to be part of the Heart Gallery of South Texas. Working alongside a great team, she is excited to contribute to this amazing cause, bringing her spirit of community service to the forefront of her professional endeavors.
